Weekly update – week 20

Week 20 - 2019.JPG

Hi y’all!!

This has probably been the most uneventful week I’ve had in a long time – and I’ve loved every single minute of every single day!! Some weeks it’s just nice when absolutely nothing happens. That also means I’ve had a lot more time on my hands to read, which is always a plus!!

I’ve also managed to convince a very good friend of mine, that he should totally try and buddy read a reverse harem book with me. Poor guy doesn’t know what he’s in for *insert evil laugh* but I cannot wait to see what he thinks of the book I’ve chosen! If everything goes according to plan, I’ll be making a post with his thoughts, comments and reactions once we get around to reading it. I kind of feel I might have to get my whip out, because according to himself he never reads – and I can easily finish a book in 1-2 days, depending on how much adulting I need to do. But I still have to applaud Jay for giving my crazy experiment the green light!!!

Thanks to my friend, the amazing, Shalini I’m also introducing a new thing here on my blog! From now on book covers will either earn the “Bibi approved” or “NOT Bibi approved” stamp.  It might not seem like much, but believe you me, it took me a LONG time to figure out how to do it properly. It doesn’t really change anything, it’s just a running joke turned into design.

Needless to say, that I am mighty proud of myself for learning how to do something as complex as that, when I find it hard to draw a straight line in paint!!!

Gypsy Origins (All The Pretty Monsters #3)

Y’all know how much I’ve gushed and praised Kristy Cunning for her The Dark Side series!

Well in December 2018 she started her second reverse harem series, under that pen name. For some reason I didn’t start it right away… Okay I won’t play coy, I didn’t start right away because I didn’t want to have to wait for the next book in the series. I’m so impatient!! Anyhoo, I’ve now started her All The Pretty Monsters series and I’m loving it. Seriously, I think I might be addicted to vagina jokes and slaying of pop culture references.

  1. Mwahaha (that’s an evil laugh) I can’t wait to see what your friend thinks of reverse harem! And I love the idea of a Bibi approved stamp, that’s a fabulous, quick, visual way for me to see whether or not you liked something. Which, I will admit, influences my Kindle choices.

    1. Me neither, I’m so excited for him to discover my world of depraved anti heroes, sex deviant and sometimes some rather normal acting characters 😂😂

Thank you – I’m so glad you like my idea (well my friends that I stole and turned into reality, but who cares 😉 ) I’m glad I can inspire some reading choices, I need more people to gush with so let me know if you ever finish something you’ve seen me read 😀 or if you have any recommendations for me 🙂
