Hi y’all and happy Top Ten Tuesday!
This is the first time I try this TTT, coming to think of it, I don’t know why. I’ve seen so many great posts and it always looks fun, so this week I decided to give it a go. Today’s theme is: Places Mentioned In Books That I’d Like to Visit.
I would love to be able to visit, just for one day, or even better, for one weekend. It would be fun to sit around the campfire with all those demigods, listen to their stories and soak up the atmosphere.
Though, I didn’t much like the book, I’ve always wanted to go to New York. Granted that’s probably because of all the amazingly glamorous films and TV series, that shows the big apple in such an attractive light. But who knows, maybe one day.
OMG I want to be able to visit this world of Jinn’s so badly. Everything seems so magically amazing. Not to mention, the clothes described in the books sounds so like me.
Home of the Norse gods….. How great would it be to be able to visit? Granted I would want to go before Ragnerok, so I could experience the halls while they were filled with the vikings drinking and preparing.
Okay, normally this is a place many people try to avoid, and I have a feeling that’s because they haven’t read this series! But then again, I would only want to go if I could be Apocalypse’s plus 1.
Being on Olympus from any book would probably be quite the experience. But I would definitely want to see the one Vivienne Savage has created. One where Pain & Fear can feel remorse, where Zeus fights for his marriage. Yes, I’m intrigued.
Unicorns, Alicorns, Phoenix-Harpy hybrids, Phoenix, Pixies….. How could one not want to visit this magical world? Did I mention the UNICORNS?
This world has a female Merlin and Excalibur! How do you beat that? I think I could have a blast hanging out with Merlin and Arthur.
A world set in a game… my inner gamer would jump at the chance, of getting to try out this world. The other part of me is terrified, because these games always have big hairy spiders. And I’m the kind of person who thinks it reasonable to totally reasonable to flee a room, if a spider makes its presence known. UGH!
Game of Scones
As this is called Top Ten Tuesday, I really wanted to come up with 10 different books. And while I’m sure there’s probably about a gazillion different places from books I’d like to visit, my mind is currently drawing at a blank. But then I remembered this one. And even after all this time, it still makes me laugh. So I figured that’s a good way of finishing off.
Did you do your own Top Ten Tuesday post? If so, feel free to leave your link in the comments and I’ll check it out 🙂 Which places from books would you like to visit? Let’s talk in the comments!
