Weekly update – week 8

Hi y’all!

Soooo… it’s been quite some time since I’ve done one of these update pots. Mostly since like August/September of 2018, I had to cut way back on my blogging. I simply didn’t have neither the time nor the energy to keep it up. As some of you’ll know, I got a new job in August. And I don’t mind to say, that I worked my butt of for that company. However, I no longer work for them. I know that some of you might want to know why, but due to an ongoing case I have against them, I’m actually not allowed to say any specifics. So instead I’ll just say this; good riddance!

Being unemployed is both a curse and a blessing! It means I have all the time in the world to do the things I love. It also means I’m limited to which things I can do, because without an income I can’t really justify exhausting my cards on a shopping spree. Another downside is as an immigrant in the UK, a lot of employers are holding off on hiring non British nationals, because of Brexit. So, I don’t see me getting a job until that’s all settled and done with. On the bright side that means, that I once again get to read as much as I want to. And really, I love it! However, if anyone knows of a job either in the North East of England, or where I can work from home, please do let me know πŸ˜‰

#FollowFriday – the blog edition #14
Here you can see the best posts I’ve read from other bloggers, this week.

If you follow my blog you might have noticed, that I’ve found yet another amazing reverse harem author. Yumoyori is quickly becoming one of my favourites, and not just because she’s written an entire series about a unicorn shifter. I don’t know how or why I hadn’t heard about her until mid January. But it wasn’t until Anna fromΒ The Indie AcademyΒ contacted me, and offered me a spot on Yumo’s ARC team, that I read any of her books. But now that I have, there’s no turning back. And I’ll definitely be reading many more. The next on my reading list is her Destiny Jinn series

Even if it wasn’t a reverse harem book, if it wasn’t about paranormal beings that fascinate me, I would still have to give this book a go, had I seen it at random. Just take a look at that gorgeous cover ❀️
