#FollowFriday – the blog edition #10

Follow Friday 01

Did you know you know #FF is short for #FollowFriday? A Twitter trend created by Twitter users as a shout out, a show of appreciation, a nice thing to do. Each Friday, you recommend Twitter profiles that you appreciate and enjoy to all of your followers. This week I’ve decided to bring the Follow Friday feeling to my blog, too, and dedicate this post to the top posts or bloggers I’ve read this week.

Going forward this also means, that if you want me to consider your blog, or a particular post, please email me on bibisbookblog@hotmail.com – if you want me to mention you that week, please make sure to email me before Wednesday @8pm (UK time). Oh and to make things easier on me, please write “Follow Friday” in the subject field.

This week I’ve received two emails from fellow bloggers, that would like to be featured in this post. This is so exciting for me, because I really love helping others, and it’s also proved to be a good way for me to find new and great bloggers to follow.

So without further ago, let’s meet them:

🌺 Mackenzie @ LIT LEMON
Like with many of us, Mackenzie’s idea to create a blog came from the people around her being fed up with hearing her talk about the fictional journeys she’d been on. She started her blog in August this year, to share tips, book reviews and book recommendations – both of which she also love to receive. Whilst being very new to blogging she has some really good and interesting posts on her blog – especially her MY TOP FIVE BANNED BOOKS
So please give her a warm welcome and a follow. You can also follow her on Twitter @ litlemonbooks.

Yet another great blog that was born in August!
Satia enjoys reading popular science alongside psychological thrillers type of fiction, and love talking about her reviews with people in the comments. These genres are not usually something I pay much attention to, so I’ve had a grand time reading some of Satia’s reviews.
Please go follow her blog, and if for nothing else, her review of Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari is so great.

Other great posts I’ve read this week:

Jen is one of the greatest bloggers I’ve been lucky enough to meet on this journey, and after following each other from almost day 1, I now consider her a very good friend. She’s now started doing her own version of End-of-the-Week Mishmash which includes things like #FF. If you’re not already following her, you’re missing out so please stop by and show her some love. If for nothing else, then to admire her pictures. Seriously, they’re so beautiful!

  1. ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ I feel the same about you, Bibi. Thank you for the shout-out and all the kind words. There is no bigger supporter of other bloggers than you. 💗 Doing The MishMash thread has taught me how much time it takes to link to others and huge kudos to you for continuing to do it with all you have going on. I may do mine every other week or once a month just because it takes time, but I definitely want to keep doing it.

I liked and commented on both beautiful blogs, and I followed Satia (was already following LitLemon!). 🌺

Thank you, as always, for highlighting new bloggers to follow! Happy almost weekend, my friend.
