1.If you could pick three book characters to have as close friends, who would they be and why?

⭐️ Percy Jackson from Percy Jackson and the Olympians & Heroes of Olympus, I think this son of the sea god could get me back in touch with my inner child.

⭐️ Keyla / Pacca / … from The Dark Side, this chick is so bad-ass she puts Chuck Norris to shame. And I’m sure we’d have a lot of fun laughing at our own jokes.

⭐️ Muse from Rock-Hard Beautiful, this guy breaks my heart and makes me swoon at the same time. I’m failing to see, how he wouldn’t be perfect BFF material.

 

2. What makes a good book for you?

A solid world and character build, with room for character development. Honestly, if there’s no special snowflakes I’m usually okay. But I love when there’s no whiny and silly female leads.

 

3. What is the first book you remember to have read by yourself as a child?

This is such a tough one for me. When I grew up, both my mum and grandma read a lot to me. As in sometimes multiple books for my nighttime reading. I have distant memories of when I started, to read some of the pages by myself, with them. And I also know I at some point read some of the books by myself. But I can’t for the life of me, remember which book was the first one I read all to myself.

But my first clear memory is of a Danish book called “Kaskelotternes Sang” meaning “The Sperm Whales Song” or “The Song of the Sperm Whale”.

 

 

Actually, this book is a bit of a fun one. Do you remember the cartoon “Samson and Sally“? If not, it’s like a children’s version and simplification of Moby Dick. The abovementioned book, is like the teenage version of it. So, as a Dane you pretty much grew up with a book for each of the stages in life. When I read it, I really loved it and last year, I even bought it as an eBook. However, I haven’t read it again, as I simply don’t dare to. This is one beloved memory I do not want to be ruined!
