1. What is your favourite word?

I don’t think I have a favourite word…

2. Which book will you never get tired of rereading?

Song of Achilles
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

3. Why did you start blogging?

For me it was a combination of things! I’ve wanted to start a book blog for the last 2 years, but I always doubted if I could or should do it. I’ve been following other book bloggers, and seen their amazing journey, which both inspired me and had me doubt myself. (First lesson about blogging: don’t compare yourself to others!).

Then in May this year the stars aligned. I was studying full time, which meant I was reading a lot more, and thus had more reviews to share. I’d already reviewed a LOT of books on Goodreads, Amazon etc. So I had a lot of content ready to share. In the end my boyfriend and friends were like “just do it already, Bibi” – and they were right! There’s no such thing as instant success, no matter how prepared you might be. So, I went for it and I’m glad I did

4. One thing you would never give up?

Only one? Well I guess reading! I couldn’t function without my daily get-away into the fictional worlds I read about.

5. Which type of posts do you have the most fun while writing?

So far there haven’t just been one kind of posts, I’ve had fun writing. But mind you, my blog is only 3 months old, so everything is still new and exciting. But I love writing reviews, doing tags & awards, writing my weekly updates and random musings. So all in all, I love writing all my posts.

6. Favourite blog post (by you or any other writer)?

Okay, this one is a complicated one!

My favourite blog post written by me: Playing with the codes – this one was a lot of fun, and a personal challenge as I’m no good at all this HTML stuff.

However, I only got the idea for the post after seeing LaRonda link back to May. Basically, my post is about how I got on using May’s tricks of the trade. But I didn’t know of May’s blog at the time, so I only found out thanks to LaRonda.

On top of that, Consu added my post into her Helping Bloggers through Discussion Posts – which is now part of my blogging bible!

7. If you had to change your name, what would it be?

I’m watching FRIENDS right now, so I’m tempted to go with Princess Consuela Banana-Hammock. Ha!

In all seriousness, I’d probably change my boring Bibiane to the original Bibiana, or just plainly go with Bibi.

8. What one question you would like to ask me?

Oh I love this question! I’m so gonna use that.

If you and I were hanging out for 1 day, what would we be doing and where would we meet up?

9. Last thing you Googled?

“What is the full name change Phoebe wen’t through on Friends after she married Mike”. I couldn’t remember the entire thing, and wanted to check the spelling.

10. What language do you wish you could speak?

I used to be really good at Spanish, but since I moved from Barcelona and back to England, I haven’t used it much. Which basically means, that now I’m no better than a tourist trying to remember some of the basics they learned in school. This is a shame, and I wish I’d kept using it.

11. How do you deal with a reading slump?

I usually re-read some ol’ faithfuls that I know I love.

Anyone who hasn’t done it, or want to do it again. So, if you go for it, please link back to this post so I can see your answers.

  1. Great answers! I’d love to learn Spanish too, it is a pretty language. Well, if we were hanging out I guess we’d have to chat a bit at a coffee shop followed by a trip to a bookstore/library so we could recommend books to each other and get to know each other better!
