Have you ever noticed that I really enjoy doing book tags? Well I do! And luckily, Bookish Owlette figured it out and tagged me for this fun thing – which seems fitting as I just finished some course studying. Thank you 💖
The Rules:
- Thank the creators: Namitha @Teen Memoir and Jasmine @How Useful It Is

Questions:
A+ on the test: A book or character that makes you smile.
Paca/Keyla from Kristy Cunning’s series The Dark Side, doesn’t just make me smile. She makes me sit there laughing to myself like an idiot.
“Before you say anything –“
“You wanted us to care,” Kai says, interrupting me, slowly standing to his feet.
“Of course I did. I still do, and –“
“You fucking maddening, suicidal, infuriating hell spawn,” Jude growls, interrupting me again.
“I realize I’m technically hell spawn, but I find name-calling to only be fun when I’m the one creating the names,” I say, trying to lighten their eerily similar, brooding mood.Doesn’t work.
Sports team: A fictional family that you want to be a part of.
The Weasley’s from Harry Potter. I have a feeling I’d enjoy stuffing my face on Molly’s cooking, and then prank it up with the Twins at night. Yes, I could totally go for this.
Class president: A book that tries to make a difference.
My main reads are from the romance genre… I don’t think I’ve ever come across anything that could come close to resemble, the books trying to make a difference. I guess if you really want to get all deep about it, the figure of the leading ladies has changed. Now they’re all naturally curvy, with curves in all the right places. I suppose that could be seen as promotion of a healthier body type than the skinny ones it used to be? But then again, it could make some feel bad about their lack of curves… And to be completely honest, all this rambling is just to cover the fact that I can’t come up with anything. Sorry!
High school sweetheart: A book character you have a crush on.
Almost every time I pick up a new book, I find a new crush. So, how long is this list meant to be? 😛 I suppose my most recent crush is on Galen from Thirst For Her. He’s deliciously dark, dangerous and wicked in all the right ways. Except for his killing sprees!
Prom night: A book with a beautiful cover.
But there’s so many….. I guess if I stay within the limits of the books I own, it will be
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
Spring break: A book you can always turn to when you need to escape.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan
Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan
I’ve said it before and I’ll gladly say it again: Percy Jackson is one of my all time favourite narrators. These books never fail to make me amazed, entertained and most important: make me cry with laughter!
School lunch: A book character(s) you want to have lunch with.
Their Vampire Queen by Joely Sue Burkhart
As long as I don’t become the meal, I’d be honoured to have lunch with her royal highness Shara Isador.
Hallowean party: A character you would like to be for one day.
Hmm… I really don’t know… There’s so many awesome one to choose between.
School bully: A villain you don’t want to go to school with.
Voldemort! When I went to high school and my friends and I would be gossiping about our latest crush, we’d say “he who shall not be named”. See how confusing that would get really quickly?
Graduation: A book with a bittersweet conclusion.
I think C.M. Stunich’s Moxie (the third and final book in her Rock-Hard Beautiful series) is somewhat bitter sweet. Maybe most of all, because I wasn’t ready for it to be over!
I TAG:

I actually liked Magnus Chase books more than Heroes of Olympus

I only read the first Magnus Chase, didn’t really like it. Might try again at a later date when the series is complete.
