THE 4 “FIRST” QUESTIONS:

1- First memory of a story.

Pelle Haleløs bogenMy mum and my Nan read a lot to me when I was a kid. My Nan had this big Walt Disney book, with some of the classic tales like Dumbo, the Fox and the Hound and the Jungle book. I remember her reading those to me, when she and my granddad was watching me. I can’t for the life of me remember the books my mum read to me, but I remember there was one about a cat being adopted by a family of mice. And yet another one, about the cat “Pelle Haleløs” – which roughly translated means “Pelle Tailless” (Pelle is his name). I still remember some of the stories about this poor cat, who lost his tail in a fight against a nasty rat when he was a kitten.

2- First book you bought with your own money.

Diving InI don’t know for certain which book was the first I bought myself. Growing up a book worm, my family supported me a lot. But I think one of the first ones was Diving In.

3- First book that made you cry.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

There’s not many books that’s made me cry and I think the first one, was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows when Hedwig dies. That was just so sad and sudden. Poor owl!

4- First book that you didn’t finish.

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m extremely bad at leaving books unfinished. Hell, even series. Once I’ve started, hate it or love it, I need to find out how it finishes. Curiosity killed the cat, and sometimes my will to read. Anyway, I can’t remember the first book I didn’t finish, and in total throughout the years, I don’t think there’s been more than maybe 5 in total I haven’t completed.

MY FIRST SUPPORTER:

My first follower 02

Jade @ ALWAYS CHASING RAINBOWS was my very first follower and I’m so embarrassed to only now have noticed, that I never followed her back. Well, that’s now corrected! This was only about two months ago, and I still remember how giddy I got when I saw that someone was having a look around and hit that magical “follow” button. Thank you, Jade ❤

Seeing as this is all about the books, and Jade is all about the clothes and travels, I will instead nominate my second follower:

My first follower

JESS & TEAGAN @ Fiction No Chaser have followed me almost from the beginning, and they’ve both been amazing at supporting my posts. Thank you girls ❤

I just want to say a huge thank you to all the amazing people I’ve been lucky enough to meet on this journey. It’s humbling to meet so many friendly, supportive and awesome people on a daily basis. Thank you! 💖

MY OTHER NOMINEES:

Becky // Ashley Rae// The Mystique Reader // Sophril Reads //

As I really like these questions, I don’t want to change them. I think they paint a nice picture of how I started, and I’d like to learn the same about my nominees.

    1. Thank you, Carolina 💖 those memories are so dear to me, so it was kind of cool to get to share them. Ahh HP, that owl came out of no where and hit me right in the feels, I can still remember sitting there and just thinking NNNOOOOO not Hedwig!

  1. Congrats on this Award! What a great idea! I can never seem to NOT finish a book… But, I just DNF’D My first book ever!! It was “the Lying Game” by Ruth Ware, and I was sad that I couldn’t do it, but it was making me SO FRUSTRATED I was going to chuck it across the room! (and it was an ebook on my phone… So, I figured it was safer to stop reading. 😉)
