Dangerous Encore (Dangerous Noise #5) | Review

My rating: ❤❤❤ of 5!

Dangerous Encore

This is a spin-off of Crystal’s other rock star series, Sinful Serenade. Even though, the Sinful guys do make appearances in this series too, it’s not necessary to read their stories too. Each of the four main books in this series are standalones, but I’d recommend you read each before reading their HEA.

This is a bonus book summarising that life looks like now, for all of the band members and their partners.

Ethan & Violet

The couple are about to get married, but Violet struggles. She’s not as excited as she should be but without opening up and relying on Ethan, she might not even make it to her own wedding. Will Violet finally grow a pair, or will she continue to be a victim to her own insecurities?

Kit & Piper

Their plans have always been to get married when Piper graduates and yet, there’s been no talk of their wedding. Piper is disappointed because at the same time Kit seems withdrawn, so will she ever get to marry the man of her dreams?

Joel and Bella

The couple are still together and going strong. They’ve both worked hard to maintain their marriage, but neither of them would have it any other way. So, will it last, when a life changing surprise comes their way?

Mal & Lacey

While they decide to take the next step in their relationship. However, in order to truly be ready, Lacey feels that she needs to face her past demons, aka her mother. While Mal doesn’t agree, he’s supporting her decision. But will facing her mother truly help, or will all her old insecurities resurface and ruin things?

While I enjoyed Dangerous Encore a hell of a lot more than I did Sinful Ever After, I still didn’t think it was necessary. The stories are not that different, so I would have been perfectly happy to leave each couple as their individual book ended.

Have you read this book and series? Do you like rock-star romance? Comment and let me know.
